My name is Amy and I'm the owner and designer of LuLiGirl. We are based a ferry ride from Seattle, Washington on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula. I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I studied all areas of fashion design, construction and pattern making. It was a great experience but my love of animals sent me on a different career path upon graduation (wildlife rehabilitation/veterinary nursing). I created LuLiGirl in 2002 as a hobby when I started sewing for my daughter. Slowly my hobby grew into a more serious endeavor thanks to my wonderful customers. In 2005 I chose to leave the animal care field and focus exclusively on LuLiGirl. Although I miss working with the animals, I love the freedom, creativity and time with my family that LuLiGirl allows. My little company was created because girls should have clothing that is fun, unique, whimsical and WEARABLE. Thanks for your interest! ~Amy |
